Monroe County Sheriff App Limits
The official Monroe County Sheriff Illinois app began in 2024. The sheriff describes alerts, public-safety databases, resources, and broad jail information. Those functions must not be assumed from the words “jail information.”
If the installed app later presents release data, record its exact screen label, timestamp, window, fields, photo availability, and aging behavior. Until that test is made, the app is not a substitute for the discharge record. News posts and third-party booking collections are also not valid same-day release lists. They focus on selected events or arrests and do not establish how custody ended.
Widen the Monroe County Release Window
